A very attractive example with an good colour and strong details. The fully struck Holbein-like brooding portrait. Rare in this preserved state with natural golden cabinet tone. Note a few small die flaws in reverse, however not detracting from the piece. 3rd Coinage, Laker bust B, Tower mint, mm. Obv: Older bearded portrait of Henry VIII facing right right, HENRIC 8 DI GRA AGL FRA Z HIB REX.
