1903-O Barber Silver Half Dollar NGC VF 35-RPM and Doubling on Mint Mark

1903-O Barber Silver Half Dollar NGC VF 35 -- RPM and Doubling on Mint Mark. This coin appears to have been conservatively assessed for reasons unknown - the wings go to the end and that's the Barber Red Book's assessment for XF on ALL COINS = Dimes, Quarters and Halves. The holder may have a few marks here and there but it's pretty clear that the coin is crustily original.

The rainbow patina even houses some of the original luster. There's some light marks on the holder.

I will say that I have recently seen a few VF level Halves that still have some luster but that's something that's on XF Halves more than VF ones.
