Description: A great looking, nicely toned extremely fine or better 1795 Mexican crown size silver coin. This is the Charles IIII 8 Reales depicting the bust of King Charles the fourth of Spain, facing right, on the obverse. The obverse of this large, silver dollar size coin, has the legend CAROLUS.
GRATIA surrounding the king's bust and the date 1795 below it. REX" followed by the mint mark "Mo" then "8R.These coins were used extensively in the US before the silver dollars were circulated. The coin is nicely toned and shows all the details very well. It is a truly a nice coin with great eye appeal and has nice heft to it.
